Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hue - Da Nang - Saigon - Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival
Arrival in Hanoi. Our drive pick you up and transfer to hotel. Free time and relax. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
08: 00 Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta. 10: 30 Stopover on the way for short break 12: 30 Arrive at Hon Gai wharf - Meet the captain, crews and join us for a welcome drink, cruise briefing, safety instructions and check-in cabins. 13: 00 Lunch with fresh seafood is served while cruising towards Vong Vieng floating village, passing through extraordinary shaped-islands. 15: 30 Drop anchor at Vong Vieng: visit local houses, fish farm, schools and have a chat with the friendly fish men. (You also swim here if you like) The other option is to travel by kayak (passenger row kayaks for themselves). The kayaking option is $10.00 per person unless pre-booked. 17: 00 Back on board, enjoy the sunset and continue cruising to Luom Bo for anchoring. 19: 00 Dinner is served. 21: 00 Enjoy the comfort in your cabin or night fishing… Overnight on junk.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
06: 30 Enjoy the bay’s morning landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. 07: 30 Lightly breakfast is served. 08: 30 Explore the mystery of Sung Sot cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. 09: 30 Back on board, continue cruising, enjoy the stunning views of the Bay and relax. 10: 30 Lunch is served on board while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier. 11: 30 Check-out 12: 00 Arrive Hon Gai wharf. Farewell. 12: 30 Return from Halong to Hanoi. 14: 30 Stop-over in Dong Trieu town to visit a ceramics workshop. 16: 30 Arrive in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi city tour (B, L)
You are met at 08: 30 in the hotel lobby. There is a morning and afternoon schedule, as well as an organised lunch. Morning: We visit Ho Chi Minh Complex including the Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh Museum; The Temple of Literature; local Vietnamese lunch. In the afternoon, we visit: Hanoi Hilton museum (Hoa Lo prison); Museum of Ethnology; Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. A one-hour cyclo tour through the narrow, chaotic streets of the Old Quarter - a must for any visitor to Hanoi! A traditional performance of the famous Vietnamese water puppets. After finishing city tour, you will come back hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Hue (B, L) - by flight
Transfer to the airport. Flight from Hanoi to Hue and transfer to the hotel. We visit: Imperial City; Ngo Mon Gate; Thai Hoa Palace; Halls of the Mandarins; Nine Dynastic Urns; Fobidden Purple City. Visit Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, once the Royal Palace of Tu Duc, who ruled Hue more than 100 years ago, this tomb consists of pavilions in a tranquil setting of forested hills and lakes. The tomb was constructed between 1864 and 1867. Tu Duc, who was the longest reigning Emperor, lived a luxurious life. Visit Dong Ba Market, a local market near the Imperial City. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L)
Excursion on Huong Giang River to the Thien Mu Pagoda with boat trip. By vehicle from Hue to Da Nang. Journey south along Highway 1 past the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co. Sightseeing in Da Nang: Cham Museum; East Sea; Mable Mountain. Transfer to Hoi An Town. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang - Saigon (B, L) - by flight
Today we visit: Quan Cong Temple; Phuoc Kien Pagoda; Japanese Covered Bridge; Diep Dong Nguyen House; Tran Family Chapel; Sa Huynh Museum; Trading Ceramics Museum; Quan Thang House; Phung Hung House; Quang Dong Pagoda; Chua CHuc Thanh Pagoda. Transfer to the airport. Flight from Da Nang to Saigon. Arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 8: Saigon city tour (B, L)
Full day sightseeing in Saigon and Cholon. We visit: Notre Dame Cathedral; Central Post Office; City Hall; Opera House; Jade Emperor Pagoda; Reunification Palace; War Remnants Museum; Ben Thanh Market; Giac Lam Pagoda; Binh Tay Market; Thien Hau Pagoda. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon - Phnom Penh (B, L) - by flight
Transfer to the airport. Flight from Saigon to Phnom Penh. Arrival in Phnom Penh and transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing in Phnom Penh: Wat Phnom; Wat Ounatlom; Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda; National Museum; Toul Sleng Museum; Central Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 10: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B, L) - by flight
Transfer to the airport. Flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Arrival transfer and sightseeing of Angkor. Visit Angkor Wat, a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu by King Suryavarman II, who reigned between 1131 and 1150. Visit Angkor Thom, a fortified Royal City (10 square kilometers) built by King Jayavarman VII, who ruled from 1181 to 1201. The city has five monumental gates and is encircled by a moat 100 meters wide. In the center of the walled city are the city's most important monuments including Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and Phimeanakas with Royal Enclosure. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 11: Siem Reap - Angkor temples (B, L)
Continue the sightseeing Angkor with a visit to Banteay Srei Temple, built in the late 10th century, it is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. Visit Banteay Samre, built in the middle of the 12th century under Suryavarman II, and dedicated to the god Vishnu. Visit Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12: Siem Reap - Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight back home. End of service!
