Ancient artefacts retrieved from a sunken ship in Cham Islet in the 15th century, and more than 200 ancient artefacts from the Phung-Nguyen culture period are being showcased at an exhibition being held in the northern midland province of Phu Tho to celebrate the Hung Kings Temple Festival 2005.
The exhibition also features many individual artefacts discovered inside and outside the province as well as photos featuring the Hung Kings Temple Festival in previous years and large festivals in surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, many cultural and sporting activities will also be held in Phu Tho from April 14 to 18 such as Day and Chung cake-making, rice-cooking, sports games and other events relating to farmers’ wet-rice cultivation.
