On March 30th, a festival to celebrate the culinary culture of Vietnamese villages was held by the Vietnamese Farmers’ Association and tourism and health sectors in Hanoi.
Special dishes from 30 cities and provinces were on display at nearly 150 pavilions. On show were traditional dishes of northern localities, such as Thang co and men men in Ha Giang, khau nhuc and lon quay in Lang Son, banh nep in Quang Ninh, banh la in Thanh Hoa, Sika wine in Quang Tri and xoi ngu sac in Tuyen Quang.
The festival creates an opportunity for Hanoians to enjoy special dishes from the mountainous and coastal areas and agricultural products from the Red River delta.
The festival will end on April 5th.
