The Central Highland province of Daklak plans to spend nearly VND814 billion (US$51.1 million) to develop tourism over the next five years.
The province will conduct 20 tourism projects worth VND679 billion ($42.63 million) totally, with capital mobilized from businesses in a variety of sectors.
The largest project is the VND200billion ($12.6-million) Suoi Xanh Tourism Park, followed by Ea Kao Lake Tourism Park with VND120 billion ($7.54 million), Buon Don Eco-tourism Park VND51 billion ($3.2 million), and Gia Long Waterfall Tourism Park VND40 billion ($2.5 million).
The province will also earmark VND135 billion ($8.47 million) to build hotels and recreational parks between now and 2010.
