The My Son cultural heritage site will officially be open to visitors at night as of March 11, 2006, said Mr. Dinh Hai, the director of the Tourism Department of the central province of Quang Nam.
The management board of the My Son site invested VND 2.8 billion in an underground lighting system to increase the security of the artifacts at night and make them livelier.
A festival, “My Son - illuminated night”, will be held on March 11 under the framework of the National Tourism Year 2006, titled “Quang Nam - one destination for two world heritage sites.”
