From Inner Mongolia to the Ho Chi Minh Trail, there are new tours to suit all tastes
Travel companies are introducing a lot of new tours to foreign and local travelers. Tourists will have the chance to visit Cambodia, Thailand and Laos in a 10-day-9-night tour that includes touring Hue. The price is US$496 per tourist. The first trip of the Indochina + 1 tour starts on April 12.
The program runs a festival called An Tet Dong Duong, enjoy Indochina Tet. Tourists will welcome Tet in Cambodia on April 13, the next day in Thailand and in Laos on April 15. During this special tour, visitors will have the chance to learn from customs and traditions of those countries.
This is the latest tour from the Saigon-Mekong Greentours Co. Starting from HCM City by car, tourists go to Cambodia to visit the Royal Palace, Gold Pagoda, Silver Pagoda, Tower Pagoda, Naga Casino, and the world heritage Angkor Wat. Then they go to Thailand, where their destinations will be Pattaya City and well-liked entertainment center in Bangkok. From Thailand, it's off to Laos by train to visit the most famous places like the Buddha Park, Sisakhet, Phabatphosan Shrine, the Thailand-Laos Border Gate and so on. After that, tourists come back to Vietnam through the Lao Bao Border Gate to visit top attractions in Hue before heading for HCM City by plane.
Visiting Inner Mongolia highlands
Cholontourist Co. introduces this tour to vary the destinations for travelers to China. They will visit such top places in Beijing like the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and then go to the most beautiful highlands in Mongolia. The tour lasts six days and five nights, at US$540 a tourist.
Watching the flood season in Dong Thap Province
Saigontourist Travel Service Co. offers this tour, starting from HCM City at VND280,000 a tourist, to let tourists watch the tides in Dong Thap Province from October to April. Tourists will have the chance to enjoy the beauty of the Dong Thap Muoi area in the flood season and visit other destinations like the medicinal material center to learn about the use of cajuput trees. The Vam Co Tay River allows tourists to sail back to nature.
On the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail
In wartime, the Truong Son Range was one of the main areas for the Vietnamese side to transport soldiers, weapons, and goods, to support the Southern battlefield. The Ho Chi Minh Trail has become legendary. After the liberation of the south, many adventurous tourists wanted to follow this legendary trail, but it was very harsh going for travelers.
With the creation of a proper road on the route of the trail, travel companies are trying to help satisfy tourists 'curiosity. Traveling this road, tourists will have the chance to discover many interesting destinations in the center of Vietnam like the Central Highlands, Hue, Danang, Hoi An and so on.
The tour, which costs each tourist from VND2 million to VND3 million, will last at least six days and five nights. Tourists will go by car and return by plane. Register at the Saigontourist Travel Service, Fiditourist, or Cholontourist.
