The meeting in the central sea city of Nha Trang issued a joint communiqué stating that three factors for the relationship among members of the club are the nature, culture and tourism.
More than 100 delegates from 13 bays in nine countries emphasized the importance of marine environment conservation. Accordingly, a day of every year will be earmarked for environmental protection activities involving students and young people.
At the meeting, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations granted a medal for peace and friendship among peoples to Bruno Bodard, General Secretary of the Club, to recognize his contributions to Vietnam.
