The Danang City’s People’s Committee has delivered a decision to forbid people from peddling goods in the city’s main streets and tourist areas, according to authorities.
The decision came down Wednesday in order to maintain order in public places and prevent tourists from being accosted by street peddlers, authorities said.
Shoe-shine boys, booksellers, among others have been barred from crowded streets like Bach Dang, Tran Phu, Hung Vuong, Le Duan, Nguyen Van Linh, the Han Bridge, the Cham Museum, and the City Square; any violators would be prosecuted, authorities said.
