The spring flower festival in downtown Ho Chi Minh City will last for 10 days during the Lunar New Year holidays, with special orchid collections and flower arrangements. The 25th Spring Flower Festival will take place at Tao Dan Cultural Park from Feb. 3 to 13, said organizers.
Many orchid species are expected to dominate the festival as many artisans and florists have registered to exhibit them. Besides the floral arrangements, types of fish and birds will also be shown.
Also on the festival agenda are various music shows and meeting exchanges between the artisans and people.
The artisans will also compete for best ornamental plants, birds and fishes. Results of the contest will be announced the morning of Feb. 8.
