The heat wave scorching Vietnam’s north and central provinces will ease up temporarily thanks to a low pressure passing through the northern region of the country.
Replacing the average 39-degree Celsius weather of the past few days will be clouds and some rain, much to the relief of residents in the north and central region, said the Central Hydrometeorology Center.
Side effects from the low pressure will linger for about two or three days, thus light showers and scattered rains are expected in the area.
But, the hot weather won’t be gone for too long as the center predicts a comeback around June 26 to 28.
