Beach Festival 2005 will be celebrated in Nha Trang. The city is a member of the group that can boast about having the most beautiful bays in the world.
Nha Trang's tourism industry has the benefit of some of Vietnam's most beautiful beaches. The city is famous because of its 19 islets like Hon Mun, Hon Tam, and Hon Chong, and attractive beaches. In 2003, the city was officially accepted as a member of the Club of the World's Most Beautiful Bays.
Every year, especially in the summer holidays, Nha Trang has millions of foreign and domestic tourists.
From March 29 to April 4, Nha Trang will be the venue for Beach Festival 2005 and the conference of the club of the World's Most Beautiful Bays. This gives the most attractive beaches in central Vietnam the chance to promote their image to foreign and domestic travelers.
During the festival, tourists visiting Nha Trang will not only be able to enjoy the sunshine and the blue waters, they will also be able to indulge themselves in well-prepared fun activities.
Thirty countries, including France, the U.S., Britain, Russia, India, and Australia have registered for the festival.
The board of organizers says the festival will have such activities as the France-Vietnam vaudeville, the exhibition on Khanh Hoa Province's Economic and Tourism Potential, a sculpture camp; an exhibition of photos about the sea and sea creatures; artistic kite-flying, and programs relating to sea activities like canoe performances, surfing, gliding, and a festival of stamps depicting sea activities in Vietnam and the world.
The Yasaka-Saigon-Nha Trang Hotel has been chosen by Khanh Hoa People's Committee to be the venue for the conference of the most beautiful bays in the world on April 2-3. The hotel will take care of the stay of all delegations at the conference.
For this festival, the Yasaka-Saigon-Nha Trang Hotel has organized many activities for visitors.
There's an international food and beer festival where visitors can enjoy the best dishes and the best beers of Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Singapore, Thailand, Italy and France. There are also a speed beer-drinking contest, a beer-tasting contest, sand whale-shaping, night fishing, and folk games. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day at the festival, visitors will have the chance to enjoy aerobics performances. The hotel will also hold a French cooking contest for professional cooks.
The hotel will be responsible for the door show and road show with music and motorcycle performances around the streets of Nha Trang City.
