RHDs approved from Thailand,

The Deputy Prime Minister has assigned the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Transport to sign agreements with Thailand to allow reciprocal tours by automobile. The Government has also instructed the Transport Ministry to coordinate with relevant bodies and provinces to welcome and monitor the first group of right-hand drive cars from Thailand. Travel agents have welcomed the decision, saying that the above policy will open opportunities for tour firms to offer overland tours from Thailand to coastal tourism and historical sites in the central region. Overland, it takes just six hours to drive from the northeastern region of Thailand, via Laos, to the seaside in the central region of Vietnam. That makes the trip shorter than driving to most beaches in Thailand, said Krit Kraichitti, Thai Ambassador to Vietnam.
