Rains expected for tourist islands this weekend ,

Visitors to hot spots Con Dao and Phu Quoc islands should watch out for possible scattered rains and strong winds that could ruin their holidays this weekend, predicted the Mekong Delta Hydrometeorology Station. As well, there may be rough seas offshore beach city Vung Tau and some central provinces. There is also slight chance of rain in the Central Highland’s tourist city of Da Lat during the weekend’s afternoons or evenings with temperature lows of 14-16 degrees Celsius and highs of 25-27 degrees Celsius. Tourists planning to visit the western mountainous areas of northern Vietnam or eastern Mekong Delta should beware of possible whirlwinds. Meanwhile, cold weather is expected for northern Sapa with highs of 20-22 degrees and lows of 12-14 degrees. Ha Long city will have warmer weather with highs of 29-31 degrees and lows of 20-22 degrees this weekend.
