Ten prestigious American chefs will study Vietnam’s culinary arts in a three-week visit that will begin Sunday, April 17, announced the Sofitel Plaza Saigon.
Led by Professor Michael Pardus, a famous chef in the U.S., the group will accompany 10 U.S. students to research the art of Vietnamese cooking as well as the fishing and farming lifestyles of the local people.
Vietnamese-American Michael Huynh, who was granted the title “Best chef of New York 2003” will also be part of the group. Mr. Huynh owns a chain of New York restaurants under the trademark “Bao”.
