The “Reversion to the Origin” tourism programme, due to be jointly organised by Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Phu Tho provinces next year, will feature a great variety of activities and new tours.
Ancient artefacts retrieved from a sunken ship in Cham Islet in the 15th century, and more than 200 ancient artefacts from the Phung-Nguyen culture period are being showcased at an exhibition being held in the northern midland province of Phu Tho to celebrate the Hung Kings Temple Festival 2005.
The northern provinces of Phu Tho, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have teamed up to fully tap tourism potential along the Hanoi – Lao Cai route to welcome the tourism year Towards the Root in 2005.
