Most Vietnamese and Westerners are familiar with the phrase Ha Noi ba muoi sau Pho Phuong or Ha Noi 36 districts. This phrase often causes much confusion for most people since, on the one hand Pho means a street or a place for merchants to gather to do business, on the other hand Phuong means a district or a guild of artisans pecializing in a particular trade (phuong cheo, phuong tho, etc.). In any case, there is some truth to the use of both descriptions.
Chua Huong (Perfume pagoda) is located in Huong son (Perfume mountain) 70 km southwest of Hanoi. Chua Huong is not one temple but a cluster of temples and shrines in the general vicinity of Huong son. The pagoda(s) are located in My.
The end of the Vietnam war, and the advent of "Doi moi", Vietnam's policy of opening its economy to foreign trade, means that Westerners and South Vietnamese now have a chance to visit Ha long. Vinh Ha Long or Bay of the Descending Dragon is often touted by proud Vietnamese as the world's Eighth wonder. One of the main attractions of Ha long is the bay's calm water and the thousands of limestone mountains dotting the seascape. The Bay's water is clear during the spring and early summer. Some of the islands are quite large and there are small alcoves with sandy beaches where swimming is possible. Ha Long bay lies in the northeastern part of Vietnam and is 165 Km from Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi city tour – Halong (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, start city tour with Ho Chi Minh Complex for visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum and One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Continue to visit Literature temple, the first University in Vietnam in 16th century. Have lunch in one of famous restaurant in Hanoi. Drive to Halong in the afternoon. Check in and relax Include:

Day 03: Halong – Cat Ba (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Halong wharf for boat cuise program on the Bay. Visit the Bay with Thien Cung and Dau Go cave Have lunch with seafood on boat Continue to Cat Ba. Pick up upon arrival for check in and relax

Day 04: Cat Ba (B, L)
Breakfast in the hotel before taking a beautiful drive to Cat Ba National Park. Trek thru the park (4 hrs) to Viet Hai Village where you have lunch in a local house. Return to Cat Ba town after lunch. Overnight on Cat Ba Island.

Day 06: Hai Phong – Hanoi (B, L)
This morning we stroll around Hai Phong, well known for its beautiful French colonial architecture. On the way we visit the City Museum, Du Hang Pagoda and the Hang Kenh Tapestry Factory. Have lunch and check out Drive back to Hanoi in the afternoon On the way, we visit Bat Trang Ceramic Village Overnight in Hanoi

Day 07: Hanoi – Perfume Pagoda (B, L)
Depart for Huong Son District, Hatay Province after breakfast Get on boat on arrival, gliding along scenic waterway. On the way, we visit Den Trinh (Trinh temple). Walk up mountain paths, visit Huong Tich Main Cave and complex of pagodas & temples After lunch downhill, visit Thien Tru pagoda which architectures dated back to 15th century. Boat trip back to Duc Wharf. Driver back to Hanoi and recheck in hotel Overnight in Hanoi
